Submissions for Store

Thank you for your inquiry regarding submitting your Book to Benton's Books.

At Benton's Books we service our authors for free, but your book must have an ISBN and be available for purchase. (We will check this on Amazon or Barnes and Noble).

The author should provide cover art or in the circumstance of that not being possible the book will NOT be posted. Art MUST be 150 by 191 in size to be added.

We are open to posting; general fiction, faction, romance, Celtic, historical, fantasy. as well as non fiction. Any synopsis sent without due care to editing will be rejected. Please have your work edited and grammar checked before submitting. We feel not only a responsibility to the public but to the dignity of our other writers. This is the reason we have stayed so selective.

We prefer a brief Query Letter by email first, with a short snopysis of your work, genre, word count, a short bio, along with your printing history. First time authors are welcome to submit. Additionally, make sure your email contains your mailing address, email address and a phone number where you can be reached.

The criteria we request are listed below.

• Book must be well edited and grammatically sound.
• The story must have interesting theme, plot etc. If historical the references to the period must be factual in language as well as context.
• Sexual content must be in context and not graphic for the sake of graphic.
• No pornography.
• Non-racist.
• No hate against individual groups resident today.
• Please send the sysnopsis in MS Word format once requested.
